Standard ventilation louvers leave a door completely vulnerable to smoke and fire. To solve this, our fire-rated doors are fitted with advanced fusible link louvers. During normal daily operation, the louver blades remain open, allowing air to
circulate freely. However, if a fire breaks out and the ambient temperature reaches a critical threshold (typically 165°F /
74°C), the heat-sensitive link melts. This triggers a heavy-duty spring mechanism that instantly snaps the louver blades
tightly shut, sealing off the room to prevent the spread of fire and toxic smoke
